I've just inherited an electric upright bass and would like to identify it. My wife's father, who had played double bass since he was 14 and gigged as in a piano duo/trio into his 70s, bought it toward the end of his life to make things easier. I'm an average guitar player and want to give this a try. It would help if someone could identify it, so I could find its manual to understand its two toggles, two volume controls and electronics. (This bass has bridge and neck PUs, so I'm guessing they're comparable to an electric guitar switch ... but why guess?) The only text on the body is "Solid Acoustic Standard." The tuners are Grover. The extendable foot is controlled by a Specialized quick release clamp -- a company and part I recognize from my bicycle wheels. Here are three photos (the insertable arm isn't attached). New to the site, and I appreciate your expertise. Thanks for any help.
