Identify this instrument

I stumbled across this and was wondering if this was one of the more treasured peavey basses. I have very little insight into the product line and would love to know if this is something I should grab.Peavey Specialists please hit me back

Looks like a Peavey Grind import to me. AFAIK, respectable if the price is right...NOT one of their top-tier offerings but they do have a fan-base here on TB.

Yep. Forgot the scallops were only on early Grind BXP NTBs.

That makes the answer a Grind with a preamp added.

Its a Peavey GRIND. Seller wants $400 for it, but I really have no interest unless it was underpriced for a flip. The $400 seems to be right in line with its current used market value. Nice enough, but i don’t need it. Thanks for the clarification. Peace.

Grind. @$400...........Nope! I don't recall if they cost that much brand new when they were sold. Case looks nice though.

Edit: Looks like a preamp was added. I believe these were passive with VVTT. I still wouldn't pay $400 for it. A few more dollars you can get a nice Sire.

2004 active bolt on imports had a MSRP of $500, by 2011 MSRP for neck through 4 string models was $799.
