The Vintage Modified and Classic Vibe Squier basses I have seen have skunk stripe necks. Only recent Squier lacking that I know of is the Affinity. So it looks like a Matt Freeman sign Squier with some sort of Duncan pickups and a bad rebranding job. Nice bass, but it should be set back to stock...
Dude, this is a chinese fake. It's not a fender. It's not a squier. It's not a sadowsky either.

The bridge doesn't have any brand on it and it seems like a kind of himass not vintage like the wilkinson i am aware of. What do you think about the neck and pots? Thank you for your reply.
Neck and pots look pretty good to me, and I would get a different bridge but if you like stock look keep it. Very clean and new looking Bass, get some brass cleaner and make those brass bridge saddles look brand new again then pop on some brand new strings. SWEET BASS. As far as I can tell by pics.

I have a spare hipshot a-style for fender mount that i am planning on installing. Thank you Dan!

It has that black shielding paint and it is 44mm body thickness. I doubt if these are china specs but i am not an expert. Looks like my Vintage modified jazz body quality.

There is no such thing as "china specs". The factories in China will make anything you want to whatever specification you want. I don't believe that a factory like the one this bass came out of would start with Squier or MIM parts and strip and refinish them. Black paint is not necessarily shielding paint. The hardware on the neck is not from Mexico, it's from Asia, and very cheap when purchased in units of thousands. The guy who said it's a MIM neck previously said it was MIA, and he's still lying. I wouldn't put much faith in those being actual seymour duncans, either.

(off topic) Just saw this Aliexpress chinese zebrano jazz bass and it looks pretty cool to me :D
