Double Bass Identify vintage electric upright bass

Hi, today I received this bass that I bought. Is a bass of the 60´s. Anyone knows anything about this? Havent got brand or reference. I am cleaning it and repairing some question that have got.

Its similar but not the same. Probably my bass is of spanish construction, but I havent got information about this.

Yes is similar. The body is laminated wood covered with a sheet of anything similar to formica in front and back in red, and a black strip on the edges.

Its a very rare electric upright. When I finish of clean and repair it, I would post photos, but Its need a lot of clean and repaires Any ideas for clean the fingerboard and for the oxide of the metal parts??

Im surprised with this bass and the system that uses for the strings. These is the bridge:

Uses this ferrules in the place that the normal strings have got the balls, in the end of the string. Can I put this in normal strings? Anyone see this before?

Hi, I want to change the bridge that is show in a picture in the previous post (really is the tailpiece if you see the photos of the complete bass). What type of bridge can I use? or, Is possible make an custom bridge? Where I can order a custom bridge? Thanks!!

Think you would probably have to make one.... wouldnt be hard, just get a small piece of hardwood (maple, rosewood, ebony etc).
Unless you want a metal one ...cant help you there.

Is that a mag pickup btw?

Y want a metal one. I want of metal because the original is of metal and the body have got the screws for assamble and not is possible to remove. Yes is a magnetic pickup.
