Identifying a Fender J-bass body?

Hey all.
About a week ago I picked up a "Custom Fender Jazz Bass" on Ebay.
The seller (who had 100% positive feedback listed it as having Dimarzio Model J Pick Ups, A Badass Bridge, and a Custom made Warmoth Neck.
I had emailed him asking what the body was from and he told me it was from the MIM Standard, however, upon recieving it
I noted that both the box he shipped it in and the neck plate say "SX" on them, which from what I've seen, is a budget brand, and not an actual fender.
I was wondering if there was a way to identify the body as a fender? (since I obviously can't use the neck serial number)

Do you have any pictures? I know the SX and Fender control plates are different. I believe the SX control plate, where it meets the pickguard, is more pointy. While the Fender is rounded off more.

I'm also wondering if Fender still stamps the neck joint on the body, like I know they did with, let's say, a '66 Jazz. If you're comfortable with it, I say pop the neck off and see if there is any sort of stamping.

Yeah, I'm seriously convinced that it is a SX body, as the lower part seems "fatter" and more offset then the fenders.
In which case I'm going to have have a "chat" with the seller about it, as he told me it was a MIM.
If somethings not decided, I just may buy a warmoth body for it, haha

try to get some money back, but in all honesty, if it plays, sounds and looks OK, don't bother replacing the body!

The neck plays awesome, and the finish is pretty nice, but it doesn't sound nearly as nice as my Carvin does.
then again, instead of replacing the body I could always buy the MIM Pbass my local store has for $350
