So I have this lovely Lexicon Alpha usb interface that I would love to use with my ipad. Has anyone had any experience with this? I have an ipad 5 with ios13 and I’m looking at the apple camera connector doohickey or perhaps a cheaper 3rd party equivalent. Will the ipad put out enough juice to run the alpha?

From Harmon tech support:
“We only recommend a standard USB Connection for powering the Alpha (most USB Power standards are about 5 volts, with 100-500mA of current).

The Alpha is only supported for use on a Mac OS and not for iOS compliance.”

Thanks for posting your results!

There are many other affordable interfaces that are manufacturer supported with IOS
And they usually are supported also with Mac and PC.
