If they can build F-14's to facilitate a T-Rex, they probably can build a spacecraft too. Have you guys thought about this? It's even possible to drop the F-14 intact into a planet's atmosphere.

A T-Rex in a fighter is the perfect weapon. What happens when you shoot down an enemy fighter? The pilot ejects, and a massive manhunt begins. Only, this time, you don't have a lone kid with a pistol, but a FRIGGIN' T-REX unleashed behind your lines, and it's YOU who's the pray!

I approve of this post, and suggest that the DOD start working on genetically engineering intelligent T-Rex fighter pilots and modifying F-14's and F-15's for both the larger pilots and for interplanetary flight. You never know when you'll need to attack another planet.

Gardski. I love ya, but no. Witness the root of the vertical tail surfaces- F-14: Sprouting from the top of the rearmost end of the motor housing. F-15: The roots of the dual vertical tails emanate upward from a point outside of, & not actually connected to/touching, the rear end of the jet engines' housings.
And anyone who has a problem citing Calvin & Hobbes as a reference to reality lives in a different reality than Gard & I. Agreed? :)

I have reviewed the evidence, and must concede to my partner in crime.

That is indeed a T-Rex modified F-14.

...sigh...

It actually does make more sense to mod an F-14. First, it's a much larger aircraft, more room for our flight trained T-Rexs. Second, it's out of the "active" inventory now, so the modification won't affect our present state of readiness.

...now, can we go forward and figure out how to make them interplanetary?
