If you could only own one amp

Taking into consideration every factor (flexibility for playing at home and gigs, cost, tone, volume, weight, size, etc.) what amp would you own if you could only have one?

I like to keep the amount of gear I have to a minimum. This question came up since I’m branching out into heads, cabs and/or larger combos. I’m wondering what would be the perfect amp to carry around from home to playing with other amplified instruments.

I didn’t want to ask this question just for myself but hope others could chime in on what their idea of a “jack of all trades” amplifier might be.

Out of the amps I currently own (see below) it would be the GK 800RB with my favorite 2x12 cab. I can only judge by what I have experience with.

I'd say a Mesa TT800 and a pair of barefaced 112 cabinets.
You can carry the whole rig in one go, but it's loud enough to blast the drummer off his chair.
The amp brings the versatility and the cabs are the perfect combination of small, light and loud.

For me, Mesa TT 800 with one each of a Subway 1x12 and a 1x15 (or 2@ 1x15).

My newly acquired Bergantino B|Amp just bumped off all others for mellower gigs with the upright bass.
With 700 watts and programmable compression and breakup, there is a pretty high likelihood of it dominating the loud rocking jobs as well. (I'll know for sure in a few more weeks.)

My Genzler stuff checks all the boxes for me. The Magellan amp has all the features I need, and the 4X10 cab gets plenty loud and is easy to move as it comes in somewhere around 50ish lbs. The array design allows the bass to be heard better anywhere on the stage. This is all the gear I have.

Another GK800RB vote.
My ‘78 Fender Studio Bass sounds nicer but is far less practical.
400RB as backup. Which of course has never been needed!

Right now I only have one amp and my Ampeg PF-50T + PF-115HE isn't a bad combo for just having one amp.

I have gone back to my Mesa Walkabout Scout 15. It just work for me. (This week lol)

The Mesa Boogie M2000 (hybrid) that I bought used about 15 years ago, plus my TL-606 cabinet (1×15").

Previously owned gear includes Ampeg V4B (70s), SVT3 Pro, SVT4 Pro, plus various GK, Hartke, SWR, Peavey, etc...

I will never sell my Mesa M2000. I use it for home practice, recording, band rehearsal, and gigging.
