If you only could have one bass, what strings would it have?

Rotosound Nickel 66 Swing Bass 45-105 (that's the ones in the blue packaging, not the more common Swing Bass Steel 66 in the orange packaging).
Great allrounders, totally different strings than the steel version, very warm&fat sounding but plenty brightness, nice and smooth feel under the fingers. One of my favourite rounds and the best allround string if I had to choose only ONE to cover all my needs.
And they're NOT the same as the cheaper Rotobass sets. Someone has been spreading misinformation around here about Rotobass being Swing Bass 66 Nickels without the silk. I asked Rotosound directly about this and the Nickel 66 use differently spec'ed wire than the cheaper Rotobass sets.

Rotosounds stainless. Been using them since the 70's, and have always liked them. No reason to change.
Interesting. I like Rotobass strings but never bothered to try the Nickel 66 version because Jason, who was a Rotosound retailer, said they were the same strings - only difference being silked or non-silked. At least I think it was him who said that.

All my basses are strung with Smuckers. I like the Unobtanium wrap on the Batman core 
I'm currently using Dingwall nickels on my 2 Dingwalls.
I have a set of Dean Markley Blue Steels on my Rick 4003 and my Warmoth Z Bass.
I don't remember what's on my Warwick or my Fender GLJB.
My Kiesel Icon 5 fretless has D'Addario half-wounds on it.
No flats, thanks. Had them on my fretless and didn't like the tone. Half rounds are better to my ears.
No tort pickguards or sunbursts either, for that matter. Or P basses.

So... Dingwall strings for my Dingwalls. Other basses - no particular allegiance, but they have to be stainless steel roundwounds.

Hmmm... I currently have 7 basses and they all have Chromes on them... I'm gonna go with Chromes 
I just recently discovered Dunlop flats when I bought bass #2. I’m in love.
Now bass #1 has a set, and #2, DR Pure Blues or Roto Jazz 77’s. But I think the Dunlops would be the winner.

I chose Batman. My only bass would have big, fat, finger shredding round rounds. The rougher the better.
I do have only one bass and I use the Kalium hybrids balanced set - .045 - .150 (it’s a 5 string)
