ok dude, why not? There are good cover bands and awful cover bands. There are good originals bands and awful originals bands. Thats pretty much the way it is.

that pretty much sums it up. i agree!

your original comment read like a dismissal of cover bands in general, and usually it takes about 5 minutes of that to put a thread in the toilet (unless i'm just in the mood for stupid, pointless arguing ;)). today i don't so i go :bawl:.

plus i hated to see you trolling on your 2nd day back. :)

I respectably disagree

The Fuel Room in Libertyville? Haven't been there, but FYI, that's a good hike from the city of Chicago.

Looks like it was a rocking show though - were you guys playing Who songs or opening for a Who cover band? I noticed the Who banner...

Looks like you guys would have 2 Petes then, huh?

Thanks man, the show was insane, we are out of Milwaukee.

We opened for a who tribute band. We do all of our own stuff.

We are playing Garibaldi's Saturday night. We want to get it up a little higher than Libertyville.

I've rocked Girabaldi's a couple times. It was a tough draw both nights - I think we did mid-weeknights both times, but they treated us good...as far as beer and pay-out

Yeah, thats a sore subject cause we havn't done "jack" (were to busy fighting with each other) to promote the Garibaldi's show. And as you know all the outside festivals are happening, which doesn't help.

I am not expecting much of a crowd. Hopefully the opening band will pull in a decent number.

Have you ever played Smokin Joes? We are there, I think the 2nd week of August. It's a tiny biker bar, but we think it's going to be a riot to play there.

I saw Vains of Jenna there a few weeks ago, the place was packed and they destroyed the place.

Welcome back! I never thought the problem was with what you said, it was how you said it. Please always share your opinions, I may or may not agree with you, but I always am intersested in your opinons.:bassist:

I am cool with that.

Thing is, I understand a lot of these cats are not even in working bands and their not sweating it out on the front lines in these clubs like some of us are.

It's unclear what their point of reference is, because for most topics of discussion the ultimate answers will happen on the stage. Thats where everything plays out.
