I'M BACK

Kind of a long story, including blindness, crippling illness - literally - and much other craziness. But I'm still breathing.

Very good news especially during all of this! Hang in there, buddy. My advice is get some good coffee, enjoy a new morning and break out the album or cd of this. JW has some positive words for you!

I've got some very limited vision restored and I'm working hard on the mobility. I can stand, with some support, for a short time but cannot walk - yet. My bass playing has all but gone completely, which seems a shame as I was just beginning to get the hang of it after about 40 years! :D
I have no idea what your situation is, but in my day job I work pretty closely with people who have experienced significant injuries and I've seen some amazing recovery stories. It doesn't happen overnight of course, and there are never guarantees, but keep at it
