after a very long pause I've found new motivation to take up a bass and play a little bit, I really feel like a beginner, honestly, I'm a beginner , last time I played was in 2002 or so, last time I visited talkbass was more or less the same, now my life is more stable, no more travelling, two kids and a house to pay, you know, life....
question is:
sire V3 V5 V7 second hand or a Ray4 sub?
on the ray4 sub I'd miss the neck pickup, I can always add it later (no problem for me to dig a hole in the body for a J style pickup)
on the J-bass I'd miss the punch of the "stingray"
big troubles
any of you have samples of a ray with an added coil on the neck?
