I'm back

I used to have an account a decade or two ago, but the constant changes in computers and priorities caused it to disapear from my radar. I just got out of open heart surgery a few months ago and am in a whole new world. I've dumped my interest in politics and returned to the bass as a primary focus. I had already moved on to nurturing my vinyl record collecting activity, but life is good when you focus on the stuff that actually affects you personally. I've left political discussion for culture discussion - and discussion about my hobbies. It's a lot more fun.

BTW, The first picture is right after surgery. The second is two weeks later when I was discharged. I was still having an issue with bloating from the medicine I was on, but that's gone now. My arms and legs really atrophied (I was pretty much bedridden for a couple of months), but that is already being rectified. I do a lot of work on my property (See personal details in profile) and we already notice a difference.

I've been playing bass since 1998 and will probably mostly just lurk now. I don't have as much to say as I did back in the day. I think that sort of comes with age. No point in badgering people. I mean, I know my equipment and skills are better than yours. No point rubbing it in. :roflmao:
