I'm learning Serbian...!

now you can understand GTA4!

:hiding:

good luck. a lot of the Slavic languages have a lot of memorization instead of simple conjugation. i recently started trying to learn Russian, and it's really hard to know what each word means, much less pronounce it at the appropriate speed (at least for me).

Have fun! I'm hopefully going to be able to get up to a standard as to be able to do an exam......I hope

So, what's your next thread title gonna be?

- I suck at learning new languages!
- I think I'm dislektic!!!
- I want to be an eastern orthodox but my mother won't approve of it!
- I want to go to Serbia/Bosnia and Herzegovina/Montenegro/Croatia but I don't have the money and my mother won't pay for it!
- I just puked all over my palъka!!

Yeah Serbian is in Cyrillic? I had forgotten that part. I know a bit of Polish and some Czech (both Slavic languages), to me the hardest part is getting word forms right. The adjectives change spelling based on the gender of the noun it denotes, then to make it worse, the verbs conjugate depending on the person/case, then things can also change if you are speaking "formally" or "informally", it's nuts...but once you get the hang of it it gets easier I'd say.

No, I'm good with languages so Serbian should be easy enough!

I also want to know what the word in the last bit means...

I've been speaking Russian my whole life, and I've noticed that if I don't use it often my grammar starts going down the toilet. If you're learning Russian, try and speak it as often as you possibly can.
