im looking for a dry out mod for my pog2

I'd like to add a dry output to my pog2 pedal, I think I can handle the soldering and install but not the circuit design, does anyone know if their are any instructions available for this mod?

Not sure I'm understanding. The first slider on the left is your dry signal. You can add as much or as little as you want, provided the "Dry Effect" LED is not lit.

I've seen MicroPOGs with a similar mod, not sure about the POG2 though. There must be some schematics out there somewhere, Google should tell the tale.

yes I was/am using a stereo chorus pedal before the pog2 but I have no other use for that pedal and it takes up space/adds weight to my board, the micro and nano pog both have dry outs so I figured it should not be a big deal to add one to the pog2

Id probably just get a small splitter pedal like the one control or even a saturnworks off eBay. They are pretty inexpensive. And you won't have to worry about accidentally destroying the pog or dealing with shipping and waiting and stuff. I don't know what kind of pedalboard you have but a lot of splitter pedals actually fit underneath pedaltrain boards so they don't even have to take up room.

EHX Switchblade+. They're like $45 from Sam Ash or MF, I think...

It's not totally put back together, but the board looks like this...

A output on the Switchblade+ goes to the POG2 and into the Blackstar guitar combo
B output on the Switchblade+ goes to the bass rig(rest of the board)
AND I can have each output on separately OR together! So you can have A or B or A&B. It's pretty glorious.

Now I have "good enuff for rock and roll" overdrive/rhythm guitar AND all the clean bass I could ever want!

Edit: the Switchblade+ is also passive, so it doesn't need any power unless you want the LEDs working.

Hi.. I have the exact same question. While I think that all answers and suggestions here are sensible, I still wonder for what arcane reason EHX has omitted the obviously essential dry out on the POG. The reason I think this is weird is that splitting tge line is what most of us want to do. the POG does ad/da so if you want other fx in the chain you want them AFTER the Pog in order not to confuse it. My rig looks like this

The pink pedal is just a mixer I built (just two buffers and an adder, but very high quality). I use it a lot: to mix back in some of the original bass signal the big muff set to xtracrunchy sucked aeay, to do unison bass/fake guitar etc.
The rig is not great, becase as I wrote, the pog is after the muff only because the muff does have a clean out.
To cut a long story short: does anyone know why it was left out?

I wound up putting my POG2(and now my OC3) pedal in between 2 source audio one series pedals witch have programmable stereo routing so I can save and recall whatever clean/effect mixes I want and the stereo Aftershock distortion can apply a different distortion engine to each channel so the POG2 signal can get different distortion than the clean one in the same pedal. now im just waiting for the editor update to come out so I can use the SA expression pedal to adjust the mix on the fly via pedal, hopefully some day soon SA will come out with a pitch shifter/synth pedal of their own with the built in stereo routing that all the one series pedals have then my options will really open up

Wow! But hang on ... oc3 ? The boss octaver? I only take that in gigs where i don't have enogh 'stage real estate for the pog ... And thanx 4 the tip, i'll still see if I want to risk modding my pog... and i'll check out the aftershock: no bass player admits it, but the tube overdrive sounds really sweet!
