the v-wah works perfectly well on bass, I've been using one for 18 months now.

hmmm. i tried my friends and the wah was was hardly audible...

maybe i should ask him if i could borrow it again.

If he's a guitarist, you'll probably need to adjust the 'range' knob to get it to bass friendly territoty

Rocktron has a pedal like that - the Black Cat Moan. It has a bass setting. It's some kind of sleeper though, because I haven't seen many reviews for it.
