Put it up for sale, search offer up and Craigslist for something the same price as you're selling it for.Have any of you went through a situation where circumstances render you with only 1 bass, which you grow to hate the more you play it? I've forced myself into thinking that this (violin) bass' shorter scale and 14mm string spacing are beneficial to easier playing but I've grown to hate how it sounds. A new bass would be nice but my money's playing tag, and I'm it. It's been with me for almost 2 years but I just can't seem to get along with it. Can you all offer me words of wisdom?
That's heavy. Did you just come up with that?If you can't be with the one you love, love the one you're with...
And dump the bass you hate. The market for used gear sellers is pretty good right now - demand is very high. New instrument stocks are low unfortunately though so your choices may be limited.

I did an acoustic pop gig last night with a particularly fun song on the set list....That's heavy. Did you just come up with that?![]()
