I'm thinking of a Wah pedal!

I need a Wah pedal, ideally I'd like one thats reasonably priced (like, CHEAP if possible :bassist:) but still give me a good quality effect.
Probably like, around $100 AUD, possibly lower?
The only one I could find from Ebay AUS was this one:

Oh yeh, and I searched "bass wah pedal" I thought there might be wah pedals exclusively for bass, but not much in Aus...is there?

+1 on the Ibanez Weeping Demon

The EBS Wah One is really nice, with alot of options and tweakability, but it's a bit more than you said your range was (Around $200 US, dunno what the conversion is). The Dunlop Crybaby Bass Wah sounds good, but the sweep is a little short, and I personally didn't like the touch on/off (I prefer the switch)

Don't get the behringer. I actually bought one when a local store was blowing them out for 15 e.. They're pretty useless. The range control that should essentially make it work with basses too is a nice idea, but the execution is horrible. In fact, with guitar, one actually has to decide what three or four strings are going to be used and set the range accordingly since the range is so narrow that it can't provide wah on all strings. And with bass.. it's just a no no. Floppy and lame sounding losing all the punch and not even providing a decent wah effect.

I used to have an Ibanez Weeping Demon. Stopped working after about a year, maybe a little longer. It was a good wah, don't get me wrong, I did like it. However, I am going to reccomend the Dunlop 105q bass wah. I like it so much more than I did my weeping demon, and I can get the tones I am looking for with it.

Sounds great. It has a "range" switch that can better adapt the sweep to a bass's frequencies, and there's a "low" knob which you can use to preserve your lows when sweeping. Plus, there's a lot of versatility in the other settings.

Someone might like some other wah for some other reason, but at that price range, and being as versatile as it is, the Weeping Demon is unbeatable, imo. jm2c, ymmv, of course, but still.

The Weeping Demon is quite the buy. I bought mine used from Guitar Center for 70...when they were still going for 120 or more. The spring had been removed and the rubber foot to expand the range, and I HAPPENED to have a rubber foot off of a Crybaby, that I stuck in where the spring used to be, and it made the range much more comfortable. It's a great wah pedal. It behaves more like a Morley than a CryBaby, (A "woh" kind of sound instead of a "Wah," but when you can change that up when you just piddle around with the controls, and the range control.)

Only thing I don't like about the WD-7...is that it's so BIG! Plus, the external footswitch can be an inconvenience for fast switching...but it makes those slow sweeps easier. ;)
