Hey Justin,

I really dig the groove/vibe of STD Dance and had a couple questions:

Did it only get released on the Grandma's Boy Soundtrack?

Did you play on that track? And if so, was that a keyboard or a bass with a filter (which one?) doing the bassline?

Thanks, glad you like, that's a fun song for bass. It got released on there, but also on the "Alive" EP on Virgin Records. It's a bit rare, and has a picture of a urine sample on it. :)

The "bassline" that you may be referring to is a Multimoog. All the other ****, low and high, is me.

Cool. I spent a bit of time yesterday getting similar tones from my Little Phatty.

I wasn't sure if the opening line was a bass or a heavily bass EQ'd guitar. Can you tell me a little bit about that line? To me it sounds like palm muting and pick playing with a bit of delay. Great groove throughout.
