I don’t get it. I’m trying to replace some photos on a for sale thread. Simple image of a bass taken with my phone since I upgraded the pickups. I want to edit one in the first post so I can make it the cover photo.

I keep getting errors telling me it’s too large.

I tried cropping the images, changing the dimensions. Not sure what to do.
Your photo editor should have a function to reduce the size of the file. I don't remember what I used previously, but I could specify the desired file size, and it would adjust the photo to fit that spec. In Windows, my current Photos app editor allows me to see what the resulting file size will be if I make changes in quality or size of the photo. See attached.

My photo editor? On my phone? So I have to load another app just to compress images I took with my phone in order to upload them?
