In praise of DR customer service

I recently put on a new set of nickel Lo-Riders, with the E sounding chorusy or like having a phaser effect. I wrote them yesterday, and at 7:13 this morning, they wrote back and asked for my address, so to ship out a replacement string.

BIG thumbs up to DR.

probably twisted core or a winding that's not settled right. it does happen. good on them for getting you fixed up.

Agree that DR are one of the awesome customer service string company, unlike GHS , they has useless and almost like a "Ghost" customer service department. Lot bad complaint post from others guitar and bass forum too.

I've had great luck with DR also. I've had a couple sets out of the hundreds I've bought over the years that had a dead string or two out of the box, and they always made it right with me by replacing the strings.

I had a similar experience last summer when my G string wouldn't intonate normally (this was the only time I've had an issue with a DR string). DR sent me a replacement right away.
