Most already know how good Randy is, but if not, and you your in the south with luthier needs he is worth the trip to Nashville. He was kind enough to take my New Standard Cleveland in while we were on a mini vacation in town, did some neck re-sculpting, finish touchups and sound post adjustment and flipped it in a day for a great price. The bass plays better than it ever has and sounds incredible! I really appreciate that he worked a beginner like myself into his busy schedule to fit my vacation window. Support you luthiers and tell them how much you appreciate them! There's is an art unto itself and as far as I am aware they're not many good ones around the Alabama/Tennessee area!
Huge fan of you, Jason and your videos, since I can't find a teacher, I just bought the Barry Bales course, and plan on alternating purchasing a jazz and classical course every month with the money I had set aside monthly for private lessons.
