My second De Gier Bebop in progress.

This time it will be a fretless Jazz Bass. After my idea with a two tone color fretlines on Blackwood fingerboard. Body and headstock in Dapne Blue with old aged white pearl scratchplate

I didn't share pics of my first De Gier Bebop after it was delivered.

I had no time, because I could not put this bass away :hmm::hyper:

It souds and looks much better than great. I own a lot of top basses, like Fender JJ Custom Shop, Sadowsky (great top basses) and many more, but this bass is my darling for every day.

Getting even taller? We're already the tallest people on earth... I felt like a giant when I was in NYC...

And yes, the Bebop basses are killer! I've played a couple now, and all of them are great :) Fantastic consistent quality ánd De Gier is very quick building them. I wanna have a 5-string fretless.

My new custom build Bass by De Gier Guitars.
Bebop 5 string met flamed maple neck and Blackwood fingerboard including block inlays and binding. Aero Pickups from www.aeroinstrument.com.
Candy Apple Red with matching head stock. Passive VVT and 100% bypass Bas Boost from Vanderkley.

I received my Bebop 4 last Friday, number #86, this is my review:

- Excellent workmanship, a little below Sadowsky
- Gig bag looks cheap although it serve the purpose
- Heavier than Sadowsky
- Tone is awesome

But despite all , I have a serious problem, hissing noise, like lack of grounding.
Can anybody help?
