I personally wouldn't choose RC Boomers if I wanted the "high end sizzle" of Dunlop Super Brights and DR Hi Beams like the OP does.

Kalium sells individual strings, in nickel or stainless, in just about any gauge.

I love Nickel Dunlop Super Brights 40-100 and Stainless Steel DR Hi-Beams 40-100. I recently tuned down to Eb to learn some Thin Lizzy songs and realized that I preferred the looser feel of the strings. So, I'm interested in 35-95 strings but both Dunlop and DR don't make such strings. I'm not into super bright tones but like high-end sizzle that those Dunlop and DR give me even when the tone knob on my Fenders is only 50% open. Also, those strings last long.

Would D'Addario Pro Steel 35-95 work for me? Or D'Addario Nickel 35-95? Or something else?

They have the gauges and tension the OP mentioned and enough "high end sizzle" for me, so I thought I would mention them.

I've got Kalium balanced low tension nickel rounds on two sixers and they are super fun to play. Decent life, low price for custom sets.

Only downside is they take FOREVER to ship...

I've had good luck with Kalium too, though I'm aware that some folks haven't (not so much on the string quality side, more on the fulfillment side).

I love the Beatles and the sound McCartney got in the Abbey Road and Let It Be sessions. They say he used tape-wounds. Always wants to try them. I usually use a flat wound Labella. Larger scale. But I just put these on my Fender Amer. Performer Mustang yesterday.

Many people say these strings are suited for an upright bass or fretless. Or that they have a very deep rounded sound. But I always thought McCartney got a great full tonal spectrum sound out of his tape wounds.

So far my experience is they can be as bright or as dark as you want them to be. And they are very very flexible and bendable. VERY bendable.

Now you said you like that I’m not sure I do yet. I may get the larger gauge of the tape wounds 65-115. But I do like these a lot. I am fussing from what your looking for you might too. Very very smooth fast feel to them to…
