Hey TBers,
Every Monday my son's school has an assembly announcement in the courtyard for the weeks upcoming events. I have noticed that the announcement over the PA system cuts out regularly and the staff is constantly fussing with the Mic and cord to get it to work! I am looking to buy an inexpensive (but not cheap) mic and cord to replace the schools rag-tag mic. I am not familiar with mics at all so any suggestions would be appreciated! The schools PA is a small Peavey PA with what looks like a 15'' and 10'' speaker.
Thanks

PG 48, PG 58's are both really good mic's to beat up and get a lot of abuse and keep working. Some of the AKG's are pretty good as well. Shure might be a little bit more than the AKD counterpart, but I think they are well worth it.
