First impressions:
Was a little late coming back from lunch if that says anything, but I still only had about 15 minutes in which to fiddle with it.
I only played three intervals-the 5th up, 2 octaves up & the octave 5th up. Tracking on the intial attack was really, really good, even on an open low D with my 12 String. With that said, it glitches/sputters pretty quick on sustained notes.
The volume, range & blend controls seem pretty interactive, and some of the sputtering seemed to be able to be tamed/smoothed a bit by adjusting the range control & blend.
The range control seems to control what "bandwidth" the pedal tracks best with, as well as the overall sound of the fuzz. Fully CW is stranded dolphins being stung by wasps stuff, CCW gets a little dark. In my limited time with it, somewhere between 1-2 o'clock seemed like a good setting.
There is a switch labeled instrument/fuzz, but neither setting is entirely clean, though one smooths out the fuzz a little bit.
The pedal itself appears well built and looks interesting with the blue hammertone finish and I like the look of the labeling/control layout. The LED is kind of a pee yellow...
Anyway, I think this is going to be a keeper-just need more time with it-I can see it being used to get power chord/octave up like sounds on heavier songs (my intention) or maybe even MXR Blue Box tones on more extreme settings. Probably not for anyone looking for clean intervals like with say a digital whammy or POG, but if you want dirt with the harmonies could be a real winner.
I am overly excited.
