Inlay sticker poll for ya!

I'm feeling an inlay sticker itch. I've always liked basses with blocks and am in a decorating mood.

Exhibit A:

I voted black pearl. Personally, I like the high contrast against the white body and maple neck. Otherwise, everything is too white/bright.

But that's just one fellow's opinion.

Surprised how many people are in favor of the dots. I'm guessing OP already has one or more basses with dots already. In which case I would definitely go for the blocks, and they would most definitely be black on that maple board.

Blacks will connect with the black PUs and the black nut etc. and contrast to the white as said before.
Personally dots are fine with me too. Blocks might turn it into an aestetic headdiver ;-)
The choice is yours.

They don't wear down as there is no contact with the string.

As far as looks go, from 5+ feet away you cannot tell the difference.

Black blocks would look great.

Just for a impression how it will look, one of my VM squier's.

And yes, those are also stickers, underneath are the original black block inlays.
The pearl blocks give a cleaner and lighter look to this specific bass.
