Ok, I'm not exactly sure what I should title this as. I'll try to keep it short and sweet.
On most basses there are 1/4" inputs, I have Tourrette Syndrome and OCD which will 'make' me take the cord out of the bass with the amp on. I know at higher levels this could damage/blow the speaker of my cabinet.
My question is, can I replace the 1/4" input with any other kind of input? Not caring about cosmetics or anything, is there an input that locks the cable in or a different kind of input and cord that will not have the spiked signal sent to the amp/cab when unplugged from the bass?
Thank you.
