Inspired By Colin Moulding

Hi!
I'm a huge fan of bass guitar and new to this site but am hoping to make new contacts through it.
I don't own a bass guitar yet - I've played previously - but my love of the texture and layers in music is always the first thing I am drawn to in most songs.
Colin Moulding is my bass hero. An under-rated genius, as a bass player and a songwriter. Plus, being my inspiration.

I am very much hoping to write a book about his bass guitar, a song by song analysis of which basses he played, how he approached each song, his techniques, his favourite basses. I know this is a long shot but I am researching a lot of stuff right now.

Thanks a lot for your message. It's nice to hear from a fellow Colin Moulding fan. I'll keep you posted on my research.
To start with, I'd like to find out the roots of when Colin started playing bass, his instruments when he was a kid. Whether the bass was his first choice. Got to find this out, somehow!
Just need to know where that beautiful bass playing stemmed from.

Auto-correct can be a real pain! I honestly didn't notice your error until I just read your post. I've made a few very embarrassing errors in the past, thanks to auto-correct
