Inter-racial dating

Man I can't walk through a Wal-mart in the south without getting looked at like I'm wearing a gay pride shirt...just because every limb of my body that shows skin is almost covered in tattoos.

This is one reason why I hate the south. This is coming from a man whose entire family lives in the south. I live in the DC region now and love it. Skin is just a color and people are so stupid when it comes to racism. Move away...seriously. Close minded racist towns like that will hopefully someday not exist.

It's ok for dating, just don't get married.

Through an advanced computer program, I've been able to determine how your son will look like in 12 years. :D

Seriously, nice pic. Was that on vacation or do you own a boat?

Dear Lawd A'mighty, don't let him near any anime or gaming conventions! Or do. I guess it depends on exactly how many women you're cool with your kind having over at the house. The rough estimate would be... a lot :p.

It's things like this that make me really question people. I don't understand the whole discrimination bit at all. Some of my best friends are different from me in some way: likes, skin color, nationality, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, etc; but I'd never think to treat them any different or value them any less for it.

Best of luck to you with your relationship, mate.

That's because one specie of dog never lynched another specie of dog.

IMO, "races" of humans were devised so one group could consider themselves superior to others and by classifying everyone, which humans love to do, it lets one group describe another group based on some physical trait.

I'm quite sure races weren't invented... At least not for the purpose your describing.

See modern scientists theories are that we were all black and while evolving to suit conditions in other parts of the world our color and traits changed.

I married a Spanish chick, never really considered the whole she's another race deal. Personally though it would take a LONG time if we all mixed we would all the the same dark hair dark eyes mixed skin.. That wouldn't be too pretty if we were one race IMO

It's been said, but out here, very few would even give you a second glance. And your friends and family will get over it...they probably just didn't expect you to be dating a black chick, but once the dust settles, they'll see that the world just kept on spinnin anyway!

This.... Is how I'd see it! If one of my white friends dated a black chick upon first hearing or seeing i wouldn't stare but I'd certainly take a glance or two. This is a fundamental way humans understand things there not familiar with. Using there senses. So next time you think your being stared at don't always view it as negative.

Couple weeks ago I was at whole foods they had this white dude black chick couple with kids and these old snooty woman kept staring, making faces of disgust and just discussing them looking right at them. THAT was wrong. It was so obvious that they thought they were somehow better, people should have stared at them in wonder how they left the house without pooping their pants at that age. I think I said something loud enough for them to hear.

It was bad

I've done this but from the other angle. I'm Dutch (and white as heck) by origin, but moved to Indonesia a few years ago. My wife is Indonesian, and at the time we were still dating, the kind of comments you'd hear were... well, not fit for public consumption, but revolving around her being a lady of ill repute since she was with a white guy.

Admittedly, a lot of expats here tend to uh... purchase... their nightly exercises...

But anyway. Neither one of us really cared, many people here don't care, some do. Seems to be the same the world over, but if you ask me, I'd say do what you want anyway; it's your life, you're not living it for your relatives.

The whole concept of people getting upset over dating another person because of the color of their skin is just plain ridiculous. Some of most beautiful people in the world are people with multiple races in their genetic makeup. If you get a girl with white, black, Latino, and maybe a little Filipino in their blood, chances are that chick will be smokin' hot! I love a little cream and sugar in my coffee.

My world philosophy has always been "if it doesn't hurt anybody, who cares?" To reinforce the point, I remember Louis CK stating in an act "Why do people care if gays marry? It's not as if they're being gay *AT* you!" Kind of the same thing. If somebody dates anybody, it won't hurt anybody, so what's the problem?

I personally just dont find other races attractive , its not because of there race but I just have never found anyone of another race attractive. Kind of like how I perfer short girls, etc.
That's different. You're talking about tastes. That means you're not likely to date outside your race, but it doesn't mean you have a problem with others doing so.
