I heard someone yelling outside while I was watching the Rose Bowl. At first I thought it was one of the neighbors yelling at kids or something else. But it got louder and closer. Soon I heard someone yelling "please help me". I grabbed my flashlight and 9mm and went to the front door (9mm was concealed). A younger man (mid 20's) was right on the street headed toward my house wandering around aimlessly cars were passing buy him on the street. I called the Police and shut my door. While I was on the phone with LE (at this point the 9mm was out) his yells were getting closer. At that point I saw the flashing lights, and looked again out the front door and he was subdued by officers right in front of my porch.
I talked to the officers, he claimed he had been attacked by two men who wanted money. He claimed he had been hit in the face and head, but he had no visible injuries and he was incoherent. The police came back in after and said they still had not idea what had happened to him, as his descriptions of the events were disjointed. EMT's took him to the hospital to further examine him, but they had to strap him down. I still don't know what happened.
