Double Bass Interesting online article about DB amplification

Just got this email from this online guitar magazine. They had an article this month on choosing amplification for DB. Nothing ground shaking here for regulars of this forum, but well written and comes to a lot of the same conclusions the others around here and I have. Plus there's a nice plug for Fdeck

Okay, you guys caught me...I confess.

And I should add, you've all taught me most of this stuff. Then I went and got dangerous by actually trying it out.

I thought the audience at Premier Guitar would be different enough that most of the material would be new. And of course, it's a YMMV piece...some of you might have different answers.

Kudos! You did a marvelous job! You did my heart good by using the word "infrasonics" as opposed to the oft-improperly-used "subsonics." Your simplified and folksy explanation of the ills produced by infrasonics, the operation of the high-pass filter, it's cutoff, phase-reversal, etc. was dead-on. Really, really, nice job!
