...dancing the night away.
Once in a while an unusual finish grabs us, from the sublime to the ridiculous. While there's no accounting for taste, this Bacchus is my choice for something "fresh" that I haven't seen before. Not in the market for a new bass, but if I was......

Post your entries, tame or zany, let's see 'em! :woot:

I like my bass ukes to look different from each other since they're all the exact same model, a 21" Hadean violin/ Hofner Chinese knockoff. Pat Wilkins did the teal with a speckle design his wife came up with. I recently found a very veined marble look vinyl adhesive, but I'm not ready to go that exotic.

REALLY hard to get it to show in pics, but my G&L ASAT has the amazing Andromeda finish. All those little flecks are different rainbow colors depending how the light hit it. Cosmic!

Great finish.
I've always wondered why Fender didn't use it for the Meteora bass instead of Grey Burst and 3-Color Sunburst, both of which show a complete lack of imagination.

Yea this finish is awesome. It's called holoflake. Similar to holoflash but in powder format.
Now you managed to put together two things I'm after: An ASAT and holoflake. 😁 I prefer it with smaller sized flakes tough but this is insanely nice.
