That seems a little too inclusive of focusrite products. I had one of their simpler interfaces for a while. I don't remember the model, but it has an input adjustment that let the gain be whatever you needed. Up to and including way too much input!as far as I understand focusrite, the sound level is low
I was happy with the focusrite I had but ended up selling it because my mixing board gave up the ghost and it's replacement included good onboard USB recording. Having both the mixing board USB input and the focusrite was redundant.
Maybe go through an make sure you have enough input feeding the focusrite. Look for any -dB PAD switches in your chain. That can dampen the signal in a hurry!
