Why dont we have an International Talk Bass get together kind of like a convention where we all meet up party, jam check out gear maybe make it like a mini NAMM show. Would anyone get on a plane and go outside their country to do something like this?, i think i would.Whats your feedback?

what's so bad about New York ? For someone who loves Jazz , NY is the place to be

If it's New York - than it will hardly be "International" - it will just be yet another US get together!!

Europe or nothing !!

i'm sorry but that's complete bulls*** . if we have it in London or somewhere else in europe it will just be another european GTG. Besides almost two third of all TB'ers are american and if you include the canadians it's probably around 75;80 % New York is still convenient for euro tb'ers ( compared to Texas,California or Australia )


I'm quite disappointed by the arrogance of my "fellow" european TB'ers :scowl:

I'd like to bring this thread up again...

It has to be planned months/years in advance...

I still think that New York ( or near NY ) would be a great place to have such an event. Personally , i don't know anyone who doesn't want to visit New York someday .

When ? Isn't it about uniting the low end since 1998... ? So in 2008 , we have to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Talkbass We would have enough time to plan this
