I'm marrying my internet sweetie this Sunday! First date back in June last year.

This is the last day of my almost 15 year job as well, as I am moving next week to her place in Sactomato, and starting new job there.

I gotta hit OT more often.

I figure that I owe this thread a bump.

We spent the whole of July in Finland together, as that is where her grandparents live, and I have been picking up on the language steadily ever since that time. Learning a language from your girlfriend is an experience I highly recommend.

Alas, I did not end up moving to CT, as a great multitude of factors (including living costs and car registration issues) would've made it rather unintelligent, so we're back on the internet for now. I had a bit of trouble going to sleep the first night back in Virginia. I had been with her for four months straight prior to two days ago.

Still, I think it's really cool that we met each other here. It is truly the era of the internet, eh?

Never would I have thought anyone would get together from the talkbass chat haha..

When we first started it up again it used to be just a few of us goofing around, and everyone once and a while someone would pop in.

It's good thing that I told Ray a couple years back not to close it down when he wanted to. He thought no one used it and I told him that people still popped in there every so often so he left it up.
