Nope. I only would do it if I already have socks on and need to step outside and my flip flops are right there. I hear to do this is considered a Dominican stereotype... so I always used to bust the chops of my Dominican friend lol Good times, good times!


Ever wake up just a minute or few right before your alarm goes off? Do you stay up, or take in those last few minutes of glorified sleep?

I wouldn't be able to fall asleep that quickly, though I guess it depends. Also, I don't normally have an alarm on - even if I have to be up at a certain time I usually somehow manage to wake up before the alarm would wake me anyway.

Do you normally use an alarm clock?

I must. I do not trust myself to get up on time. My sleep pattern is far from normal, so I need a handy device to get me up. I must wake up (most times) to soothing music. Currently set Clannad - Seachran Charn Tsiail as the alarm, if not that, than the theme music from Street Fighter Turbo xD I will also hit booze for an hour on bad days.


What is for breakfast?

I set the goal of going all summer without drinking any beer (from early june to the beginning of september) unfortunately I didn't make it - I suppose pale fizzy lagers are more tempting after you've been in the hot sun for ten hours. I did make it over a month though - better luck next time I hope.

do you think papa dangerous was serious about hitting "booze" for an hour on bad days, or did he mean "snooze"?

No. But I do not play 5ers. I would probably add a lower note on top than a higher note on the bottom. I guess that would be BEADG?

When learning the circle of fifths, I remember the order of sharps by creating a mnemonic device. FCG are the letters of my favorite curse word in verb form. Than BEAD (bead) is spelled backwards. I pretend I am angry (hence FCG) because I have to remember how to spell the word bead backwards. (not hard, but it gets the point across). So... Have you made up any mnemonic devices to help you remember music related material???

Yes. Or a stray. Stopped on my way to a gig day before yesterday, a large dog was looking very lost on Hwy 9 and going in and out of traffic. He wouldn't come to me but I got him to wander down a side street and out of the way of traffic.
It was as much as I could do.

And PD - I love mnemonics. Use 'em all the time. The spaces (not the lines) in bass clef are "A Cool Evening God".

Do you have good kitchen knives? Are good kitchen knives important to you?

No. While my happiness is not related to material posessions, it has taken me a while to earn enough and accumulate what I have. I am completely agnostic, so the idea of doing it for religious reasons is anathema (see what I did there?). I would only do it if in an extreme situation (divorce, for example).

What are you currently working towards / saving for right now?
