Saving up for a car currently. These things are quite pricey. It's going to be great though, I do well with savings so once I do get this car, I will be able to save for a new bass. Than I will just save money in general.

What does your horoscope have to say for you today?

Own is not a term I'd use. We share our home with Hawkins, and African Grey parrot. He's a riot. 2 years old, already talks a bunch.
Among his favorite sayings:
"Are you a pterodactyl?"
"I AM IRON BIRD"
And he whistles the Addams' Family theme. And loves to sing along with James Brown.

...that's my bird.

What will you practice today?

Here is my daily list. I put it on random and try to roll with the punches. I add and remove songs from time to time. I play until my hands are too tight to play cleanly.

Non music related I am practicing patience :) Friday is the longest work day of the week.

Do you ride a motorcycle?

Ft. Sill Oklahoma was pretty darn cold when I did both boot camp and ait there. It was nuts. Guys used lighters to warm their hands in their pockets. Then I spent time in Heidelberg and "K-Town" Germany during the middle of winter. THAT, was cold. Advantage, Germany.

What is the hottest place you have ever been?

India - Chennai (formerly Madras). I had tried to ensure that my stay would be before the hot season started, but I had to stay a bit longer and the hot season started a bit early. Yowzah. It was HOT.

Place you have been that you would most like to return to?

Hmm That's a tough one. Desolation Valley, with it's rugged stark beauty was a great hike/camp when I was 19. Yosemite was breath taking when I made a 14 mile hike ( through a half burned mountain sadly. A forest fire had ravaged it the month before ) to a very remote lake where there was only me and a few deer. Germany with the black forest and the mountains near Eagles Nest was stunning as well. I can't decide. 1 of those three though.

Do you have trouble picking just one thing? :D

yes, always. I have a long list of things that I like, but I don't normally bother with ranking them all for the most part. e.g. There are many movies I like, but I'm not sure about any "favourite" movie.

What's your favourite movie?

I used to jokingly sing to my ex girlfriend - I normally do not sing. I was supposed to teach her bass and piano... but things got sour before that happened :\ I remember I was driving to go bowling with her, and this person in front of me (on a single lane double yellow country road) was going like 45 in a 55 zone. I forget what song was on the radio, but I completely improvised and sang about my anger and my love for her. Sigh.

Today has been a cool day in history. Jim Henson's birthday (75th), and The Red Hot Chili Peppers released Blood Sugar Sex Magik. Does today hold any personal, or significant meanings for you?

I do not get hyped about football, or sports in general. I have my teams, but I do not set aside time of my life to see who is playing who and when they are playing. However, I really enjoy watching a game, and I like playing even more. So either way, Go Steelers!
