Hello TB, I have come over here from Mx after hearing great things about this board and its members! I've been playing bass for three years this May :), I'm 17, from England and I play a Musicman Sterling Bass (Black Sparkle, Pearloid Pic Guard).

Hope to be able to help out a lot round here! I'm sure a lot of you will be able to help me with things too! Anyway keep up the great work with the forums!

Welcome Mr. Sterling.

I too own and play a Sterling. I need a Bongo badly. Everyone else here already knows this.

Your black sparkle Sterling is the exact bass I wanted originally but I didn't have the patience to wait for the fancy paint. I was searching for a Bongo in the same color and found out they discontinued it. You're a lucky man to own what is now I guess a custom bass - or no longer available one.

I believe you will enjoy your stay at talkbass as we tend to be a bunch of fairly entertaining, well informed, and sometimes even nice group of people. Have fun. Don't talk about FiELdy. Or tab.

Now wait just a dang blang minute...there is nothing wrong with Fieldy's playing style. If any of the posters here had half the talent he has they'd be too busy gigging and pulling in the bling to be wasting time here!!! He's a pioneer of the ultra-scoop floppy string technique and Korn would not be what it is today if it weren't for him.
Yet his name gets bashed here time and time again and I for one am sick of it!!!

BTW...welcome to TB.
