I don't know, I wish I had read all the update notes. If you have the Line 6 mobile in, your good to go. It's an input only. I'm getting ready to grab an apogee, my solution was to tape the mobile in to my ipad. Mostly for guitars though I did find something useful for bass.

I have downloaded it and read the description it is input only. If it works with 30pin devices it would be great. It is all guitar amps. No bass amps. It would not stop us for giving it a try for high gain amps and clean too so somebody try it with your jam. When you start the app it does say that the line 6 interface isn't found. It somehow may be a dongle of some sort. It may give a certain tone or something when it's turned on that tells the app it's plugged in. Let us know how it goes with other interfaces. It would be great for recording guitar for sure.

I downloaded it last night, and opened it this morning. It won't place anywhere except for the input section of Audiobus, which means it still requires a Line 6 interface to use.

Wah wah wah waaaaaaaah. So sorry, here's a parting gift of our play-at-home game, though.

That stinks, but thanks for trying. You'd think developers would be playing nice at this stage in the game. Heck, even Amplitude got on board.

Well, they retail their Sonic Port for 100 bucks, and their Mobile In is about 50. So, if you look at it like this, at a minimum of 30% profit margin, they'd be losing thousands of dollars in potential sales if they didn't protect their investment in that niche system. So if you want the Line 6 brand name on your gear (and some guys do), you'll buy their interface. The question is, is it any better than the others that are out there? And to me, the answer is no, it isn't.

how about not making their app free they could sell just the app like everyone else for 14.99 that would be a lot of money coming in for just an digital copy of an app already made. Also people would have more choice and the line 6 name would be out their more. people using the app may generate more interface sales....their interface does get a higher spl going into the app like 100db or something. I didnt see any adjustment there on the interface for incoming signal its pretty much set on the interface i think the input is controlled in app. also their larger interface does both input and output and 24 bit but still......10,000 pre programed user/online presets..... zero bass options.
a question....does the interface play well with other apps?
