Back to IOS stuff... Anyone have any recommendations for an alternate music player for the iPad? I bought this stupid thing for practicing music thinking it was going to be better than using my Android phone. It IS for sheet music and charts, but mainly because the screen is way bigger. I'm mainly using Onsong and I Real Pro for that. I was really hoping to use Onsong's ability to link to a song, but can't link to Spotify tracks, just MP3s. MP3 playback really sucks IMO. Spotify isn't that bad, but I hate using the stock player, which I'm finding to be complete garbage. It's so bad, I almost wish I'd gone with a Nexus or other Android tablet. I know there's got to be a better music player...

What I'm looking for is something that will allow me to skip forward / back easily (the playback line for the stock app is smaller than the one on my Android phone, and much harder to slide to a specific spot), as well as easy A-B repeat and speed control. There's lots of great Android apps for music playback (Maple, Poweramp to name a couple), but most of what I've seen reviewed for IOS has either been removed from the store or gets crap reviews. Track 8 was highly touted by Lifehacker, but it's gone apparently. The worst part of all this is I'm going have issues with the DRM'd tracks in my library. This is a big part of why I drifted away from Apple in the first place, and here I am again... eesh.

Any and all suggestions are welcome

I use Anytune Pro+. Easy A-B repeat and speed control. I'm happy with this. You may try it.
