Ireland and Beer !

Guinness and Tia Maria doesn't sound too bad... never heard of that concoction... might have to give it a go sometime.

It turns it into a blackcurrant milkshake, just like some Tia Maria turns it into chilled coffee. I haven't seen that for years though, I don't know if it's still a thing in Ireland.

Hi, @Snakeman1066 .
Sadly I don't drink beer so I can't comment on the taste, nor did a brief message to several beer-drinking friends help, as they've gone all hipster and only drink craft beers these days.:)

I did check with the Post Office and UPS about sending some over. Post Office was a hard no, they say legally they can't.
UPS said it's possible, but very costly. It seems to only be available in cans, and honestly, shipping would be a lot more trouble than it's worth.

However, if you want to pay my airfare, I'll happily bring over a couple of suitcases full...;)

People still think craft beer is for hipsters? That may have been the case 10 years ago. Maybe...

More than half of our local store beer section is small and local brewery stuff these days, and these are big chain stores. Demand is huge from all types of beer drinkers.
