lol. i can't play as well as Sterlz. DEFINITELY not trying to tackle some Jaco. i have such a crush on Markus aSterlingus. and his hands.

man. the MountainKing is just crazy, brutal low end booming fizz orgasms. it only does one sound i like, the rest of where it goes the TAFM covers better, but i LOVE that sound. so awesome.

yah, the Magnetar skeers me. i think Deltz and mebbe Sousie have one on the way?

Seriously, though, thanks behndy. I'm a big fan of all your demo vids. Thelonious Monk said that the most important element of a composition is a haunting melody, and you nail that each time. Gives me some d@mn goosebumps!

The Nimbus is such a great sounding reverb. I have been using it a lot lately as an insert in Ableton. I can drop it into a drum channel (does wonders for the snare), use it on vocals (awesome), and even run VST synths through it. It sounds and responds like a top notch studio hardware unit, which is a common theme among the IE pedals I've tried so far.

Smeet - i'm not the best example 'cause i keep ending up in projects without a guitar player, but i bought this for what Slazner is talking about. i use it to get fuzz and dirt just HUGE sounding in chorded or more I'm S'posed To Take Up Lots Of Sonic Space situations. i can definitely feel and hear the difference when i'm playing with my loud drummer and keyboardist/singer doing their thing.

super useful and just FUN pedal.

I have a couple of questions for all you experts...

Question the first:
I have an Oxide (bought in great condition, used). I don't notice much difference between the two sides of the morph knob. I hear the gating, and the gated side sounds a little more pinched and focused, but only a little and only near the end of the knob travel. Should I be hearing a lot of difference between the two sides? Just want to make sure nothing's wrong with my Oxide.

Question the second:
Also, I'm trying to decide on pedal order. I presently have these for dirt: Oxide, Frantabit, and B3K. Xerograph to be added soon. What order do you all like these in?

I generally use the B3K as an always-on box with the drive all the way down. Till now I've had the Oxide before the B3K because with Oxide after B3K just it sounds pretty much like Oxide. The Frantabit I'm trying after those two, so:
Oxide->B3K->Frantabit.
Any suggestions? And where should the Xero go? I'm thinking eventually:
OC2->POG2->Oxide->B3K->Xero->Frantabit->Polytope->Flashback

I also wondered this when I first got the Oxide.
Somebody posted saying they had a custom option for Expression control of the Morph knob and I questioned why it would be worth it, as I don't hear a huge difference between the two sides.

My experience is that the difference is pretty subtle until you hit about 9 o'clock on the morph knob. I can definitely hear the sound changing as you start counterclockwise from 12 o'clock, but it isn't obvious until about halfway down. I don't know if this is true, but it seems like the fuzz sound is the same throughout, just the pulse width gets narrower and more "pinched" as the morph knob gets below noon. I can also hear a very big difference between the morph all the way cw and 12 o'clock.

I find the tone gets brighter as I go clockwise.
