As far as I know it’s just Taylor still. I know he has a co developer on projects (Don I believe). Other than that, pretty sure it’s just him.
If Taylor is bringing out new fuzz and a V2 of the SubT, I will be very interested in trying them out. I’m totally digging the Polytope BTW.
As an owner of the FMeron I can say that it truly is a versatile pedal. It will NOT sound exactly like a Yamaha DX-7 just FYI. What you do get is a solid bass synth pedal that sounds like nothing out there. But with that said it has anywhere from super low sine wave octave deep tones to chimey upper octave tones. The envelope can control the AMP which is based on your dynamics opening a filter (you can set to down or up sweep) or the FM amount which is also controlled by dynamics, sweep set and FM knob setting. Lots to wrap your head around; don’t give up like I did. I traded it and it came back and boy am I glad it did. Definitely not a plug and play pedal but worth the work.
Thanks fabe! I knew it would be a "dig in" pedal. And I'm no synth exert that's for sure. Synths and comps are 2 areas I never spent a lot of time and energy on but now wish that I had. There is a lot of possibility in a synth pedal for me. I sold my Frebox way too quick. Wish I would've held on to it. But its gone now and I want something more direct I guess you could say. From the demo that @Proton Lenny made, I think I'll be happy with it. Plus as far as synth units go, this is a great option for a small and easily integrated synth solution for a bassist trying to keep it simple. I don't need a NIN type setup. But I would like to get some of those type sounds.

He is a sax and flute player (yes, we have a sax and flute player in the Ants...) and found that sax and flute didn’t drive it to his liking. I threw both the Mothership 2 and the FMeron on my board last rehearsal and they actually slayed together. I took the Ms2 home with me to try in more depth.
Love my Polytope! While everyone knows it can make some wild sounds, it's also great at subtle settings for adding a little extra interest to both clean and fuzzed out parts, particularly given that it tends to help get your high end to pop out in a live mix. For example, I used the Polytope on a couple of different parts on this tune from my band's new EP, both for the extended bass-centric intro section and later coupled with a Fuzzrocious Grey Stache for the synthy (but I think still subtle) bass solo at around 4:02.

Got a little time with the FMeron tonight. This thing is crazy. I’m not sure about it yet. But I didn’t expect a plug n play pedal. So I’ll give it time. See where it takes me. Some crazy sounds coming outta this thing though.
I have to admit, when it comes to synth pedals, I think moog keys are the way to go and basses are best suited to drive, filter and modulation pedals.
Definitely interested to hear if you can dial in useful tones from it. I've been in a synth mood recently and have a Dirty Robot and one of those Bananana synths on the way. The FMeron sorta got me gassing synths a few weeks ago but I've been hesitant to try one since the reviews have been sorta mixed.
Yeah it’s def weird. But I have found some really cool sounds in it. I’m not sure if it’s enough to keep though. That banana is one I def would love to grab but they, like IE, aren’t the easiest to snag. I’ve been in synth mode too lately. All I want is a simple, one pedal solution as far as that goes. Synths are a serious rabbit hole if you really wanna get it right. But I’m willing to settle on a great pedal. I should’ve never flipped my freqbox. But I did. And it’s gone. Hell, I may just flip the FMeron and get one of those again if I can. But I’m gonna give the FMeron the op collage try. But oh man, that banana.....
