Taylor removed the Subterranea pages years ago because the pedal was discontinued. I doubt this is a one-off release because:
  • he's been building Subterranea circuits for the Subterograph for some time now
  • I suspect he would have noted this was a one-off release if that were the case, if only to manage expectations
The most likely explanation is he hasn't updated the website to reflect the return of the Subterranea.

Though in fairness, the Polytope was sort of due. The XD, FrantaBit, Arcing Prisms, and FMeron have had their fair shares of recent batches, and now the Nimbus SE has had two as well. But the Polytope was sitting at just one. There's clearly demand for all these pedals, but a second batch of Polytopes and the return of the Subterranea indicates production may soon(ish) include the Divaricator and Oxide (I'm still hoping for a Dioxide, and I still want credit for that name haha). Plus there's three more Mostly Elevators in the pipeline...

Nabbed. The only IE pedal (besides Mostly Elevators) that I haven’t tried. This combined with the drops… that Wilcock Mullarkey is becoming more and more hypothetical.

To add: Yes, I am counting my blessings, and, yes, my older versions will be passed along generously and responsibly.

I've got one in the middle of my board with the lows and the loop boosted. There's a Broughton Scorpion, Fairfield Accountant, XD and Polytope in the loop. The Accountant gives it a little more grit and is always on, so it's a great boost by itself, but it's magic at preserving my low end when those other pedals are active. I occasionally use the Growl exciter.

I'd love a version with a second switch that activates or bypasses the exciters but leaves the loop alone.
