I'll take the under... I think Taylor once told me that some Oxide components were no longer obtainable. But Oxides do exist in the wild and occasionally show up in the classifieds as this one did after I foolishly sold one during my flipping frenzy phase of effects life. What I want is another three knob Xerograph.

3 Knob’s been available for purchase for a while now:

I had the Deluxe and def prefer the three-knob for set and forget and expression pedal sweeps. A really great pedal, especially with the Subterranea running before it.
Yup.. That is exactly how I use it - sweeping and dub. I also have a XeroD and love it for envelop filtering. I swap it back and forth with the Micro-Tron (which I find a little easier to set and forget).

I figured some essential components might have been discontinued or something, but I think Taylor commented in here a few years ago saying the Oxide would probably make a come back at some point, so still hoping it's in the cards. Trying to avoid paying like double for a top jacks oxide if he's just going to release some in a couple years time, I can wait 😅

That's a great setup! I've been looking at the Microtron 3 recently, non-Beigel edition.

I've also got an envelope filter after the Xero three-knob. Right now, the WMD Super Fatman has that slot. I'm not using the LFO at all, just envelope. It's dirty and rude.

Fwiw, for dub, and that subby closed envelope sound, I find the Fwonkbeta by Mr. Black hard to beat.
