Count me in here! Just got a Xerograph in. Dear god it's awesome. I don't even need to use the expression input, just as a static lowpass filter it's great. With the expression it's an amazing wah. Especially with the resonance down, since I can just leave it toe down and it sounds almost exactly like bypassed. Following my Mastotron, I can get some nice dubstep-ish sweeps.

Thinking of getting a Nimbus too. I like reverb, it's good for prettying up solo playing. Though, I've got an unusual question about it. I've found that running a distortion into reverb on wet-only can be a real close imitation of bowed strings. I got closest using a reverb plugin on my computer, but some of the reverb pedals I've tried don't quite get close enough. Do you think the Nimbus can do that?

After churning through a bunch of alternatives, the Xero deluxe/Oxide combo has stayed on my board the longest, and I just ordered a Polytope. Now to get an expression pedal and figure that end of things out. I did like my old Analog Man Bi-Chorus but I sold it. I'm hoping the Polytope will scratch the "chorus" itch as well as go weird...

It will, and then some!

Mine just came in today and while I've only had about 20 minutes with it through headphones (was helping out a friend who broke her leg), I'm pretty sure it's the "chorus" I've been looking for all this time. It does a great subtle detuning chorus all the way to horror movie freak show madness. There's no way I'll EVER use this pedal to it's potential. The Filter knob was key for me, and it solves the problem I've been having with other detuners (beating, which Taylor mentions on the Polytope page).

Traditional chorus effects make me throw up a little in my mouth, so I turned to detuners a while back. Final verdict will be reserved for when I get it going through an amp and take it to rehearsal of course, but I think this is The One chorus for me.

I'm still looking forward to A/B'ing it with my Bass Boost Chorus though... I'll post further thoughts when I spend more time with it.

Sold a bunch of pedals and re-did my board today. Still in the works. (Going to have separate PT Mini for Boss looper and delay unit and maybe a compressor.) Apologies for the sloppy wiring...going to bury them.

I'm digging IE. Thanks, Taylor!

Thanks, Taylor. It's getting there. The Oxide, Xero, and Polytope are already essential. The Nimbus and Frantabit I'm still trying to get my head around. I'm finding them really inspiring for new compositions beyond what I normally play. Really excited about experimenting with them more.

Also, the pedals are very well made. (Almost hated to put velcro on the bottom.) Not since I bought my first Zvex Fuzz Factory in '96 (#16) have I been as intrigued by the cool tones I get from a pedal. Nice job!

Amazing. It would look cool if the Octabass and Frantabit could switch spots so the IE stuff was all in a row, but I don't know if that's feasible for your cables.

Interesting that all the non-IE pedals on your board are ones we'd all love to see Taylor tackle: Octave, OD, Synth and Preamp.
