Iron Ether Bubble Chamber

It all sounds good to me. But my question about there being a NAMM booth for trying this stuff still stands. If so it will definitely go on my NAMM to do list!

And I would dearly hope expression pedals would also be available there connected to the stuff which can take advantage of it. :D

i'm very interested at it too! but other than LFOs, does it have an expression pedal out to sweep thru the low/band/high pass?

Unless something has changed the BC is low pass only. At one point Taylor and I talked about a bandpass mode but it would pretty much require a clean blend/mix control.

But the answer is yes, there is expression control of the cutoff frequency. There is also the option for expression control of the "multiplier" which would double/quadruple etc the tapped LFO tempo.

I know he's reworking the circuit somewhat but the design goal was to allow the LFO control of cutoff to work simultaneously with the expression control for extra craziness.

You'd have to ask Taylor but I haven't heard anything about Iron Ether making an appearance at NAMM. As a very small startup pedal maker I doubt he'd be spending the money for a booth, let alone the travel costs.

Keeping this up top since I'm still awaiting the Bubble madness. Honestly, my board will not be complete without it. When planning out my new board in November, I saved a spot for the Bubble Chamber. I've got my custom finished Oxide coming, will be ordering a tricked out Xero, and dreaming of the BC (BTW, that multi-band distortion looks crazy). Someone talk me into the Cygnet will I'm at it....

pfffffff. the Cygnet KILLS. it's one the most comprehensive tremolo's out there. and the ability to control the multiplier with a footswitch? murrrrrrrrrrr. pure love.

mine's back from an adjustment in the next couple days and mannnnnn have i missed my little baybay.

I'll probably end up ordering one of those bad boys soon....

So Taylor dropped me note today, since I was inquiring about the custom finished Oxide I've got coming (should be here soon!!!!), talking about the Bubble Chamber. No word on how soon (or how long) till its ready, but man I got's me a BC jones. I basically asked him to take regular withdrawals from my bank account....:rollno:

It has been a while since I've heard about this pedal for the first time here on TB.

It is a really promising pedal, and I bet there's a lot of people interested in buying one - including me, for sure - but i'm starting to get a little aprehensive/anxious about the lack of 'official' information about the pedal release, the absence of samples, and so on.

Can anyone give me some credible and accurate news about the BC?...

Don't get me wrong, this is just the expression of my frustration regarding all this 'mystery' around this pedal, which I would like very much to have on my board (soon).

Thank you, in advance.

Basically, I made a mistake in letting the cat out of the bag, and a variety of factors have led to lots of development delays. The BC won't be available for at least a few months, and I will be certain to post it on the website as soon as it's available.
