Hey guys,
I'm currently running an eden nemesis NC320 (320 watt head, 4 x 10) combo and although im very happy with it, 320 watts just doesn't throw a low B far enough with real definition for my liking.

I'm definitely going to upgrade to a GBE750, my issue is which cab to go with it. Im going to be a bit short on budget to afford 2 cabs as i really wanted (GB2x10 & 2x12 or Schroeder 210212). Would the Genz benz Neo 2 x 12 or Schroeder 1212 have enough volume & presence to do medium sized gigs without PA support if needed?

Unfortunately none of this gear is available second hand in AUS over here so it's going to have to be new.

320w is plenty for anything. I think it's more an issue with the speakers than the amp. Some are more responsive to the low B than others. I just sold a 200w 2-10" Nemmy combo and thought the low B sounded fine, but it did sound better with the Nemmy head through my 12" in my Markbass combo. For a medium gig, a quality and efficient 2-12" would be plenty of speaker.

I have a GBE600 that I ran thru 2 Avatar cabs B210/B212, it had a fine tone for me. (can we ask what kinda music you would be playing?) I then bought a single GB212T to run with my GBE600 that worked out great for my small-med size club gigs, I never get PA support in my 2 bands. I planned to go back to get the GB210 or GB112 but I decided on a 2nd GB212T. Ive never had a chance to use the 2nd cab yet, never needed it is what I mean. We play the same clubs/rooms every month so I know what I need for those gigs. Now I just bought a used GBE750 a couple weeks ago from a TBer. I now use it with a single 212T at the same rooms more power, more headroom. I like to run some bottom thru my rig but now I can back down some on the LF and my 55-02 bass settings, all else is flat. I plan to use both cabs at our New Years Eve gig, I hear its gonna be a big room. Now I play top 40, Motown, Pop rock, blues in this band so my present equipment serves me well. I feel the 750 is quite versatile as I use it in a new blues-rock band where I will be using 2 cabs more frequently. So Yes, I feel you can use the 750 with a single 212T to start then see if you need to add a 210/112 or even a 212. Of course I meant to go try out a Bergantino, Accuegroove, Bag End,etc before I bought the GB cab(s) to compare but I sold off the Avatars and went with the GB cab in kinda a rush but I am happy with my purchase(s) so far. And the Customer Service GB offers just makes me feel even better about my choices, we all converse here frequently. Good Luck.

I'm playing thru an Ashdown EVO II 500 and a Genz Benz Neo 2x12... amp pushes 575 watts, cab can handle 600 watts. Match made in heaven. So MY 2x12 rig is plenty. My opinion is to match the head and cab to get the best sound.
I've played with it in medium size and a few outside gigs and it was plenty loud... used the D.I. to the P.A., but sound guy said he didn't need to turn it up very much at all.
