I used to have an MXR Bass Preamp as my DI. These days I take a one of the stereo lines from one of my Eventide H9's (set to dual mono) and line out to the FOH PA and the other to my stage amp. I let the sound desk engineer supply the DI. The H9 can usually kick out quite a signal if required

I either use a Tech21 Qstrip or an MXR 81, and they both have a DI.

My Ampeg SCR-DI and an Art Pro Audio preamp.

I have one, wither via a Zoom B3 or an Ampeg SCR-DI. But if I take my tube amp, and we're playing more than one short set, I take a speaker level one and plug it in the amp output

I never thought of doing that with an H9....interesting!

Yes— SansAmp BDDI and it’s been useful and reliable. I lust after one of the Noble DIs, but that’s unlikely until I stop spending my band wages at the bar...

Always. I use a preamp/DI pedal at the end of my chain, on both of my pedal boards.

Yep, an EHX Battalion at the beginning of my chain. Use it for the clean signal. Use the XLR out of my effects amp for FOH mixing, when we have such luxury.

I have 3 DI's available, 2 in my pedalboard (line 6 G70 wireless and radial bassbone V2) but the one I use most is out of my Rumble 500 V3 combo. I have used the one out of the bassbone on 1 occasion where we went ampless onstage and it worked well.

I have both an active EBMM and a passive Peavey T45, JDI always at the end of the chain.
